MEET MYRON KIRIU

  • Born & raised in Lodi, California

  • Attended college at the University of California, Berkeley. Graduated with honors acquiring a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double emphasis in Accounting & Finance

  • Following graduation, Myron worked for two years in San Francisco with the CPA firm of Coopers and Lybrand (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers)

  • Moved to Hawaii in 1984 and worked with the CPA firm KPMG Peat Marwick until 1987

  • Myron’s financial experience combined with a strong work ethic and ideas have resulted in superior results for his clients. His prior experience with 1031 tax deferred exchanges is an additional benefit to those who work with him

Ambur has been in real estate for over 25 years and is an owner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty. She has experience in all the facets of a residential real estate transaction and helps Myron run the team and their business. Sherrie Sasaki, RA, JD – Team Manager RS-74829

Joining our team in 2012, Sherrie came to us with a unique and diversified background. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology & Geophysics with a concentration in engineering geology and hydrogeology and, in addition, has earned her Juris Doctorate degree. Prior to joining Team Kiriu, Sherrie spent 5 years as a Project Geologist and 10 years as a licensed attorney. Aside from helping Myron and Ambur manage the team, Sherrie assists in overseeing each transaction as it advances through the escrow process and ensures that every transaction is handled with the highest level of competency and professionalism.

 
 
 

Chris Lee, RA, CPA* – Buyers Specialist RS-78895


Chris was born and raised in Hawaii but left to pursue a Masters in Professional Accounting at Seattle University. He later returned to Oahu and worked at the well-known accounting firm KMH, LLP as an in-charge CPA. Originally, Chris joined team Kiriu as a client Relations Specialist and helped Sellers with their needs as their home was listed for sale. With his specialized accounting and listing background, he now helps our Buyers find the right real estate opportunity as our Buyers Specialist. His sense of urgency and market knowledge will be critical in helping you find the right property at the right price.

Grace Hwang Mirza, RA – Listing Specialist  RS-81233

Grace joined Team Kiriu at BHGRE Advantage Realty as a Buyers’ Specialist, and now, she has continued to grow into the position of Listing Specialist. Within this role, Grace helps to coordinate vendors to prepare our clients’ homes for sale. Grace’s extensive experience in the customer service industry in tandem with her market knowledge makes her an essential part of the team, and she will be a great asset to you during the selling process.  

 
 
 

Grace Ong, RA – Escrow Specialist RS-81336


Grace was born in Singapore, lived in Malaysia and finished her education in Singapore on a scholarship. She started working at BHGRE Advantage Realty as an Administrative Assistant.  Then in 2018 Grace first joined Team Kiriu as a Client Relations Specialist and has moved on to her current role as an Escrow Specialist for the team. Grace speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Malay and provides a most important service to our clients by keeping track of the escrow process. Grace is there to help our clients watch for critical timelines, following up on escrow items and getting information that our clients need to make informed decisions on their home sale or purchase.

 

Trisha Kagawa, RA – Listing Specialist RS-80452


Trisha joined Team Kiriu as a Listing Specialist to assist our clients who are getting ready to sell their home. Before joining the Team, Trisha was an Account Supervisor at MVNP, as well as the Director of Store Planning and Visual Merchandising for the Sullivan Family of Companies. Trisha now focuses on coordinating vendors to prepare our Clients' homes for sale, supervising the work at each property and making sure that our Sellers’ homes are market ready. Her substantial experience in marketing and project management will benefit you greatly in your listing process.

 
 
 

Mary Martin, RA – Executive Associate RS-61523


Mary joined the team in 2010 with over 18 years of experience as an administrator with other real estate companies.  Mary's role with our team is to prepare contracts, prepare listing presentations along with the related comparative market analysis, and ensure that all members of the team are properly integrated with each other. Mary's past experience is additional insurance that your transaction is handled with the utmost professional care.

 

Debbie Jow Ito, RA, SRES – Marketing Specialist RS-73401


Debbie graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy and the University of Hawaii with BFA in Design. She joined Team Kiriu with over 20 years of marketing, advertising and design experience. Before joining the Team, Debbie worked at HMSA, Hill & Knowlton/Communications Pacific, Design Logix, and Aloha Magazine in various capacities of marketing, design and project coordination. Debbie has also been an active agent with our company since 2010 and her previous experience as an active Buyers' and Sellers' agent brings a uniquely practical perspective to marketing our clients listings. She's excited to utilize her knowledge of both real estate and marketing to ensure our clients get the maximum price for their home.

Makiko Blumke, RA – Client Relations Specialist RS-80681

Makiko was born and raised in Kanagawa, Japan and has lived on Oahu for over 20 years, making her fluent in both English and Japanese. As Team Kiriu’s Client Relations Specialist, Makiko actively engages with all Buyers and Agents that seek to view a client’s property once it's listed for sale. She also actively communicates with our Sellers to keep them informed of the activity on their listing. Her experience in the timeshare real estate industry has given her top-notch customer service skills, and the sense of urgency needed in Hawaii’s competitive market.

 

Miki Nakano, RA – Digital Marketing Specialist RS-83336

Miki was raised in Japan, California and New York. She graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo and also completed a study abroad program with Boston University. She is bilingual in English and Japanese and has previously worked in marketing for companies in Japan and Hong Kong. Her extensive experience in content strategy, branding, and project management helps connect your property to the perfect buyer.
